Due to continued success and rapid expansion, Zodiac Bar today announced it will be moving to a new permanent premises.
What started as a twice weekly event at Northern Soul Bar & Kitchen, rapidly grew to 5 nights per week as word spread throughout the LGBTQ+ Community. Within 3 months Zodiac Bar was hosting established acts to sell out crowds and struggling to accommodate all of it’s guests.
The new venue is a stone’s throw from the old space, directly outside Tufnell Park Station, next to the iconic Boston Music Room. It boasts a full concert stage with an incredible sound system, a secret beer garden, huge bar and seating capacity for over 100 people (socially distanced). Capacity is expected to be 250+ post COVID-19
Zodiac Bar expects to have a Grand Opening (after a full refurbishment of the new venue) on December 5th 2020; but in the meantime will continue to host it’s events and guests at an interim venue, the hugely impressive concert space “The Dome”, which is directly above the Boston Music Room. (with a current socially distanced capacity of 100+)
The brainchild behind the business, known as “The Mother of Zodiac”, Jade Phoenix Hoskins had this to say “My mission has always been to create the most inclusive and welcoming LGBTQ+ Venue in London, I want everyone to feel like Zodiac Bar is their home away from home. Our success is down to the community that has embraced us since we started in July, and I am so grateful for the support we have received. With our new venue, we will be able to maintain social distancing more confidently, host more guests, offer increased security, and make this a hub for the North London LGBTQ+ Community”
As of today, Zodiac Bar will no longer be trading from it’s old address (114 Junction Road, London, N19 5LB), also known as Northern Soul Bar & Kitchen.
